Two exciting job vacancies in the DLP team
The Developmental Leadership Program (DLP) is looking for a Program Manager and a Communications Manager to help lead a new phase of research on leadership in global development.
These exciting roles will involve working closely with policymakers and researchers in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, and offer considerable scope for influence. The postholders will be encouraged to innovate to boost the impact, reach, significance and sustainability of DLP’s research.
DLP is an internationally recognised research collaboration examining how leadership can support development in Asia and the Pacific. Its research is funded by the Australian Government, and the new three-year phase of funding will run up to 2021. DLP is based at the University of Birmingham’s International Development Department, where these posts will also be based.
The Communications Manager will maximise the uptake and impact of DLP research to audiences around the world. They will develop DLP’s communications strategy, translate research findings into policy messages, manage multimedia communications channels, manage print and online publishing, and monitor impact. The Program Manager will manage DLP’s overall research portfolio, individual research projects and researchers, the budget and contracts, internal communications and processes, and external communications and relationships with stakeholders.
