11th UKFIET International Conference on Education and Development
DLP Researcher Laura Brannelly (CfBT) will be presenting the findings of the first phase of DLP’s research on Higher Education and Development at the 11th UKFIET International Conference on Education and Development in Oxford between the 13th-15th September.
The theme of the conference is “Global Challenges for Education: Economics, Environment & Emergency”. The main aim of the conference is to move education to the centre of the debate on global challenges in the 21st Century. The conference asks “How can education best contribute to sustainable development and a peaceful society? How can the delivery of basic education to the poorest be safeguarded in times of crisis? What types of learning and modes of delivery can best support individuals and states while helping economies to grow? What skills can best meet the needs of highly mobile labour markets?”
For more information on the conference visit the CfBT website.
