Rachel Fairhurst

Rachel Fairhurst is the Program Administrator for the Pacific programs team at International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA). Before joining IWDA in September 2014, Rachel worked as a Research Associate for the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, at the University of Notre Dame. With a Masters in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, Rachel has worked for NGOs in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and as a researcher in New Zealand. Her interests include transitional justice and reconciliation policies, gender issues in war and peace, and the role of civil society in peacebuilding.
