Joanne Crawford

Joanne Crawford is Senior Research and Policy Adviser at International Women's Development Agency (IWDA). She has some 28 years' experience across government, the not-for-profit sector, in universities and as a consultant, with a focus on gender equality and women’s rights, international development and public policy. This includes working with the Australian Government's Office for the Status of Women, the International Division of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and as Director of the Governance Group at AusAID. She has a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management (Melbourne), a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies (ANU) and an Honours degree in Economics (Monash).
